RECO
(REGE 29 APR 13
April/107191
With reference to my despatoh No. 94 of the 26th of
February I have the honour to report that I have taken
advantage of the active commencement of work on the
Canton-liankow line to impress again on the Minister of Communications in conversation the necessity of linking up that line and the Canton-Kowloon railway at Canton.
The minister definitely enid that the connection
must be made as soon as the Goverment could find the
means, that he was much pleased with the solution of the difficulties relating to the lukuang Railway Agrement and that he looked forward to the completion of the Can- ton-Hankow line in some three or four years,
hight Honourable
I have the honour to be.
